What's the application process like?
The CustomerCare Group takes the necessary time in our hiring process to ensure that we find the right person for the right assignment. If you choose to join The CustomerCare Group, we want your time with us to be well spent, productive, and enjoyable. So we take our time during the interview process, getting to know you, helping you get to know us, and ensuring that both of us make the right choice.
After submitting your application and résumé, the process will unfold as follows should you qualify to transition from one stage to the next:
- We will determine if your At-Home Office meets our requirements. If yes...
- You will be asked to complete a written online pre-interview survey.
- You will be asked to complete a scripted telephone questionnaire.
- You will be asked to complete various online tests. These tests include basic math, spelling, vocabulary, computer skills, and typing to name a few. These tests will that about 2-4 hours to complete.
- A The CustomerCare Group recruiter will contact you to schedule a telephone interview.
- Once you have progressed beyond the initial telephone interview, additional interviews will be schedule depending on the client program for which you are being considered.
- If we agree that we are a good fit for each other, you'll receive a job offer!
How long will the application process take?
It varies. Each stage could take a few days or up to 7 business days.
What happens after I get the job?
You'll be assigned to a Client project and the Onboarding process begins!
Your first day of Orientation, which is where you will learn everything you need to know about The CustomerCare Group, is also your first day of paid work. Training (performed online in teams, and also fully paid) will last from a handful of days to many weeks depending on the project. During Training you will learn all aspects of becoming a valuable member of our Team.
Once you've graduated training, your work begins!
Do we ever meet face-to-face?
We're a virtual company with people living across the country. There's no need to meet face-to-face.
Are your staff members real employees or independent contractors?
We're proud to say all of our associates are employees.
How much are Agents paid?
Pay rates are affected by many things, including skill set, expertise, tenure, and the project being worked. At The CustomerCare Group, our agents never earn less than $10.00 per hour.
Do you always pay by the hour, or do you pay by call, or by minute?
Our employees are all paid by the hour regardless of the project or task being worked. Unlike independent contractors, or piece-meal temporary hires, our employees always have a fixed work schedule that clearly defines how many hours they can expect to be paid.
How often do I get paid?
Every other week. We encourage you to take advantage of direct deposit so your paycheck goes directly into your bank account. But you can get a check by mail, if you choose.
